Chicken breast marinated in honey
4 chicken breast fillets of 150 g each
2 cloves garlic
5 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp chopped oregano
6 tbsp Langnese Summer Blossom Honey
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Pat chicken breast fillets dry. Peel and press garlic cloves, mix with olive oil, oregano, summer blossom honey and lemon zest and add salt and pepper to taste.
Spread marinade onto chicken breast fillets and chill, covered, for about two hours.
Heat oil in a grill pan, fry chicken breast fillets for about seven minutes on each side or cook them as desired on the grill. This dish goes will with grilled tomatoes stuffed with rice and a crispy baguette.
