Vegan chocolate custard



  1. 5 tbsp. cocoa powder

  2. 4 tbsp. cornflour

  3. 6 tbsp. Langnese Black Forest Honey

  4. 250 ml (1 cup) almond milk

  5. 125 ml (½ cup) water

  6. 2 tsp. vanilla extract

  7. Thinly sliced almonds for garnish (optional)


  1. Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and cook over a medium heat until it boils, whisking continuously.

  2. When the custard has thickened, transfer it to serving cups and let it cook at room temperature before transferring to the fridge to let it cool completely.

  3. Garnish the top with some sliced almonds.
