Ingredients

  1. 500 ml cranberry juice

  2. 2 sprigs rosemary

  3. 10 tbsp. soya sauce

  4. 15 tbsp. Langnese Acacia Honey

  5. 10 tbsp. tomato paste (or purée)

  6. 2 tbsp. Tabasco® or other hot sauce

  7. 1,5 kg spare ribs

  8. 5 tbsp. olive oil

  9. Salt

  10. Paprika (powder)

Preparation

  1. Mix the cranberry juice, rosemary, soya sauce and honey in a pan and bring to the boil over high heat for about 15 minutes. Add the tomato paste and hot sauce. Remove from the heat.

  2. Rub the spare ribs with the olive oil and season them with salt and paprika. Lay the spare ribs on a hot grill and grill them for about 15 minutes until golden brown, turning regularly.

  3. Brush the spare ribs with the honey cranberry sauce. Let the sauce set for a moment and then turn the spare ribs. Grill the spare ribs for about 15 minutes more and then brush them again with the sauce. Take the spare ribs from the grill. Brush them with more sauce, cut them into pieces and serve immediately, along with the remaining sauce.
