Honeycombs

Bees are born builders. To make room for offspring and nectar supplies, builder bees continuously expand the hive with hexagonal honeycombs made of beeswax, which they produce themselves using special glands. Among other things, the nectar is stored in the honeycombs and is processed into honey. To prevent it from flowing out, honeycombs are always tilted slightly upwards – very clever! On the subject of honeycombs, no other geometric shape in nature achieves such great strength and stability while boasting such low material consumption and weight.

Langnese Honey is a gift of nature. To ensure that it can continue to give us its best in the future, we take special care to use natural resources responsibly.
